Reiki for animals and all living things

Holistic healing is for cats and dogs as well as our plants and other living organisms. The same energy that created all that lives upon the earth can also heal those living beings.

I have done healing work on animals for several years now. I have had dogs upon my Reiki table and facilitated Reiki to many cats, including my own precious WahKee who came to us as a lost kitty and in very much need of healing--- mentally, emotionally and physically. I immediately started doing regular Reiki healing sessions on her. She has been a wonderful part of our home for many years now. Our other cat, Pharoah, also receives Reiki sessions as needed. Whenever we pat the cats we also send some Reiki energy just to keep them healthy. Another wonderful fact that has been discovered through scientific testing, is that the cat’s purr is a powerful vibrational healing modality that they also use for self healing. Whenever I have ever been feeling less than 100% well, WahKee will come and give me love and energy – and I can feel it flow into my energy field and body. It is an energy exchange to help one another just as we humans exchange Reiki sessions.

I have also had many people come to take Reiki lessons for the purpose of giving Reiki energy to their horses or other pets. Several of my former students facilitate sessions of Reiki to horses regularly.

The early Egyptians realized the divine nature of cats and their purpose in our lives – it is only natural that we should treat them equally as well.
